# Add funds with a deposit

Read current network instructions and distinguish pending, spendable, and withdrawable credit.

An account's deposit address lets it receive supported assets from a wallet or exchange. Fetch instructions for the authenticated account; do not copy another person's address, a sample address, or a treasury address from an old article.

## Read the instructions before sending

Call `GET /api/v1/billing/deposit-address` on `https://amplerun-api.spiry.org` with your Bearer key. The first call assigns an address when needed. Inspect:

| `address` | This account's deposit destination |
| `networks` | Networks currently offered by the service |
| `networks[].status` | Choose an `OK` network; `UNAVAILABLE` is not evidence of a working credit path |
| `networks[].assets` | Exact accepted token names and contract addresses |
| `networks[].native` | Whether native-coin conversion is available, its spread, and display quote |
| `min_deposit_micro` | Current minimum; do not hard-code a number from an example |
| `max_deposit_micro` | Current available credit capacity, when capped |
| `deposits` | Recent detected or credited deposit records |

The same assigned address may be listed on multiple networks. That does **not** mean every network or token sent there will be credited. Select an offered network and accepted asset explicitly. A native-coin display quote can change before credit; it is not a locked stablecoin exchange price.

## Transfer from your wallet

Review the network, contract, destination, amount, and wallet fees in your own wallet or exchange. The documentation examples do not submit a transfer. Keep any first test within your operator's approved amount and current service minimum.

## Wait for usable credit

- `SEEN`: a transfer has been detected; this display state is not spendable credit.
- `CREDITED`: the service has booked credit. Some eligible deposits can be credited early, before finality.
- `HELD`: inspect the reason. A cap or other condition needs resolution; repeatedly sending more is not a remedy.

Poll `GET /api/v1/billing?asset=USDC` or the chosen supported asset. Use **`spendable_micro`** to decide whether a rental budget can be funded. Use **`withdrawable_micro`** to decide what can leave the account. Early credit may be spendable while still confirming and not yet withdrawable.

Do not infer completion from a fixed number of seconds. Network state and the returned balances determine availability. If a deposit is missing, check the exact transaction, network, asset contract, destination, and [support checklist](https://docs.amplerun.com/support.md) before sending another transfer.
